Of course this blog is all about shopping for pet products, but let's switch it up and talk about shopping for your next pet online! In addition to adoption programs in your local shelter, Iams has launched this years Iams Home 4 the Holidays campaign with an online pet search engine, powered by petfinder. Along with this new feature, they're offering adoptive families extra perks, like an adoption kit.
Last years goal of 1 million adoptions was blown away, with a total of 1,202,701 placed in homes. One of those pets happened to be Rumi, adopted by Academy Award winner Hillary Swank. This year Hillary Swank, is partnering up with IAH4TH campaign in hopes that they can place 1.5 million pets by January 4th.
Can't adopt? Already got a housefull of pets? It's ok-you can bring food to your local shelter, simply by casting a vote through their Feed Pets in Need program.
