RoamEO is a GPS tracking system for your dog, (or up to 3 dogs), which allows you to track your dog in the yard, on the street, or along the hillside. Dog walker holds the locator, while the dog frolicks wearing his GPS collar. There's no third party service required, and no need for installation or hardware.
You can set a "fence" perimeter in the locator which will 
alert you if your dog strays outside of the yard, or away from the campsite perhaps, and you'll be able to track your dog for up to a mile. While many dogs that become stray could easily roam beyond a mile, the RoamEO will tell you the last known direction, while attempting to relocate the signal.
